Regarded as his personal orchestra this band of 50 selected brass band musicians recorded these tracks of ‘Repertoire of the day’ and special arrangements from the late 1940s to the mid 1950s. They are all carefully restored and edited here for CDs. There are 20 tracks on each of the two volumes.
